Chongqing West Railway Station is regarded as the largest railway station in the west and Chongqing's largest railway integrated transportation hub project.

If not counting the area of interchange hubs and squares. Only the railway station has a construction area of 120,000 square meters. The east façade of the railway station is the most distinctive: the composite truss arch structure is the first in China, with a force-bearing arch span of 108 meters and a force-bearing arch span of 192 meters. The roof structure and the vertical structure are combined, and the entrance is fully open without columns. Therefore, Chongqing West Railway Station has become the largest station vault in China. This project uses 4 sets of BRB, with a maximum load of 1750 tons and a total length of 20 meters.
