Founded in 2011, the company has obtained nearly 100 patents and has been recognized as a Shanghai High-Tech Enterprise. It also holds the Specialized Engineering Contractor qualification and Grade III Steel Structure Construction qualification, and has been honored as a Shanghai Specialized, Refined, Distinctive and Innovative Enterprise.

Steel Damper has delivered projects across civil buildings, schools, hospitals, hotels, stadiums, electric power, aviation, bridges, and equipment vibration control, including major national projects such as COMAC production facilities, Shenzhen Airport Satellite Hall, renovation works for Shougang Industrial Park at West 10th Olympic Plaza for the Beijing Winter Olympics, the National Sliding Centre, athlete apartments, and vibration control for CNOOC and Shell petrochemical production equipment.
